Since BAEG became the Atlas Copco/Epiroc Authorised Dealer in 2013 for QLD, NT and WA, our valued customer has upgraded most of his alternate brand hammers to Atlas Copco backed by BAEG – ranging from his SB302 all the way up to his HB7000.
Our valued customer specialises in time critical, high production projects within South East Queensland and is experiencing continued growth in demand for his services. This growth in demand has created the need to add another rock breaker to his fleet. His objective is always the same – to add the highest power to weight ratio breaker suitable for safe operation on his selected excavators.
The Atlas Copco SB452 breaker is fitted with a massive 95mm diameter working tool – which ensures the impact energy from its high tech piston is transferred fully into the material needed to be broken. It has dual tool retainer bars to provide the most reliable tool guidance system in the hammer market. The SB range also has a slim design due to its Solid Body concept, which integrates the power cell and the guidance system into a single sound suppressed body – decreasing the total number of parts, such as guide plates and dampeners. These factors combine to deliver a slim, compact breaker that provides excellent visibility and handling for operators carrying out high production and detailed breaking works.
The Atlas Copco SB452 comes standard with blank firing protection, internal pressure relief valve to protect the breaker from hydraulic overloading, floating tool bushing that is easily field replaceable in a matter of minutes, central automatic lubrication connection point, air inlet point for under water/tunnelling applications, and water inlet point for dust suppression and plus many other market leading technologically advanced features and benefits – plus the added protection of Atlas Copco’s 3 year warranty coverage.
